Join us for an evening with Liz West – a visual artist who creates vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light.
Working across a variety of mediums, West aims to provoke a heightened sensory awareness in the viewer through her works.
She will discuss her interest in exploring how sensory phenomena can invoke psychological and physical responses that tap into our deeply entrenched relationships to colour.
Liz West graduated from BA (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture & Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art in 2007.
She regularly exhibits nationally and internationally including at: Bristol Biennial; Natural History Museum, London; Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces, Manchester; Royal British Society of Sculptors, London; National Media Museum, Bradford.
Tickets are free for members and £3 for non-members.
All proceeds from our cultural programme go to the Kibera Hamlets School in Nairobi, where Second Home has funded the construction of a new school building designed by our architects Selgas Cano.
